Simone Pero

Emmy-nominated film producer Simone Pero is the Founder and President of For Impact Productions, a social impact consultancy for artists. Pero’s film and impact producing portfolio includes LILLY starring Patricia Clarkson distributed by Netflix and Blue Harbor Entertainment and THE TALE starring Laura Dern distributed worldwide by HBO Films, nominated for 25 awards including two Emmys and a Golden Globe. In addition to VIVA VERDI!, Pero executive produced THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING featuring Geena Davis, Meryl Streep and Shonda Rhimes and is associate producer of the Humanitas Prize 2025 Winner VOW OF SILENCE: THE ASSASSINATION OF ANNIE MAE, a Disney Onyx documentary-series directed by Yvonne Russo. Among Pero’s upcoming projects includes the limited television series RUTH’S GHOSTS created by Jennifer Fox. Pero serves on the President’s Council of New York Women in Film & Television, is a member of BAFTA the British Academy of Film and Television Arts North America, the Producers Guild of America, the Television Academy and the Global Impact Producers Alliance. Pero is on faculty at the Stony Brook University Killer Films MFA in Film & TV Writing program.
